The SET presented our Seafresh Group with the prestigious award in recognition of our continued efforts in sustainable business practices, following our third Best Sustainability Award win.
The award is only presented to companies recognised for best performance in their market capitalisation category for three years running.
Seafresh is one of only six companies ever recognised at this level. This award wasn’t the only accolade presented at the ceremony in October.
The SET also awarded the company the Thailand Sustainability Investment (THIS) for the fourth consecutive year. Mr. Chaisit Chuenchuwit, Seafresh CFO, collected the award from Mr. Pakorn Peetathawatchai, SET President.
Along with this, we received an Excellent Corporate Governance score of 5 Stars for the second year in a row in the Corporate Governance Report (CGR) of Thai Listed Companies 2018.
This report is jointly produced by the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) and the SET. For the past five years, Seafresh has been in the top quartile of listed companies with market capitalisation between 3 and 10 billion Baht.
These awards recognise our high level of achievements in sustainable business practices, in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is the result of our determination to improve the business in governance, transparency, economic, social, and environmental aspects, as well as stakeholder relations. This all contributes to improving the sustainability of our business.
